Templates
Templates in this collection
An event comes together through many small agreements: the venue, the caterer, the volunteers and the sponsors. These templates put the dates, prices and responsibilities for each in writing before the day, so the day itself runs on one clear page.
Templates are a careful starting point, not legal advice. Where the law matters, check what applies where you are.
Events
Questions people ask
What should an event run sheet include?
- A timed schedule, who is responsible for each item, supplier contacts and what to do if something slips. The run sheet template asks for exactly those.
Do I need a written agreement with each supplier?
- It is wise. A short booking that states the date, the price, what is included and the cancellation terms avoids most disputes. The supplier booking template covers these points.
Are these templates free?
- Most are. Fill in and download them for free as Word or PDF, with no account. A few longer documents are premium: free to fill in, paid once to download, and marked with their price.
Do they follow my country's law?
- They assume no country's law. Where the rules matter, such as safety, data protection or employment, each template says to check what applies where you are, and a lawyer should read anything that carries real risk.
