Every sentence resolves to a document and a page you can open. Turn on “Answer only from your documents” and nerix must quote a passage for every claim, or tell you it can't answer instead of filling the gap from what a model happens to remember.

A library that has actually read your files.

Upload PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, scans and code. Every file gets a short summary, a visible index status, and a place in a folder tree built around your clients, staff and suppliers. It also gets a passport with its type, area, own date and status, and links to the documents it is connected to.

Keyword search finds the exact words, even in a file that is still being indexed. Meaning search finds the idea, even when the words differ. Blend them into one list and you cannot tell why a result ranked where it did. Keep them apart and you can trust both.

Build your own apps on the same AI hub.

nerix is also the central AI behind other software. Your app calls one hub instead of each AI company, with one key per server and one balance for everything.

    Each request is signed with your server's own key, and each answer is signed by the hub. Nothing in between can change either, and an old request cannot be replayed.

  • Every model, one format

    The common chat format with a small nerix object added. Change the model name, not your code. Fallbacks happen only when you list them.

    We never train models on your documents, and neither does Mistral, the EU provider a new workspace uses. Any other provider shows its own terms before you switch it on.

    The audit log is append only. Not even an owner can edit or delete an entry.

    Your credit balance is the sum of an append-only ledger. Nothing in it is ever edited or removed.

Questions people actually ask.

Is nerix an AI?

Yes. nerix.ai is an AI system: the answers are written by AI models. That is why every answer shows its sources and names the model that wrote it, so you can check it.

What happens when my documents don't contain the answer?

With “Answer only from your documents” on, nerix must quote a passage for every claim, and says it can't answer rather than filling the gap from a model's memory. A confident guess about a contract is worse than no answer.

How do the numbered sources work?

Each sentence carries the number of its source: a document and a page, such as “page 11 of 34”, with the quoted passage. Open the number to see the passage on its page.

Is my data used to train AI models?

We never use your documents to train models, and neither does Mistral, the EU provider a new workspace uses. What each other model maker may do with requests is shown on the models page and in the product before you switch it on, at the same weight as what the model is good at.

Where is my data stored?

In the European Union, for every workspace: the service runs on servers in France, and files and backups are kept in the Netherlands. Other regions are not available yet; when one is, this answer will say so.

Which AI models can I use?

A new workspace is EU only: its documents and questions go only to Mistral, hosted in the EU, and to models on our own server. An owner or admin can also switch on Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek; speech (Soniox, Cartesia, ElevenLabs) and pictures need a provider outside the EU, so they work once one is switched on. Each maker's cautions are printed in the product, including that DeepSeek processes data in China.

Which languages does it work in?

Ask, search and get answers in the language you work in, with the same page-level sources. A library that mixes languages is normal, and each file is read in its own language.

What does a question cost?

It depends on the model you choose, and the app shows the price before you send. The exact cost is settled afterwards from what the model really used. Storing a document and making it searchable is free; its short summary costs a few credits, and reading a scanned page or exporting a file costs more. Every entry is in your credit history.

What if I run out of credits?

AI work stops: the spending cap is on from the start, so nothing is charged beyond your plan, and you get a warning at 80%. To keep going, an owner turns the cap off and adds a credit pack, from €10 for 100,000 credits, or you move to a larger plan.

How do I start?

Open the app and create an account. The free plan is one seat and 3,000 credits a month. It stops at that limit, so it never costs anything.
