Home is a page of widgets you can move, resize and add to. The sidebar and the phone bar show only what you have switched on. One New menu starts anything. Your layout is yours, and it stays when you come back.
The free plan is one seat and 3,000 credits a month, never charged.

01Home
A page of widgets, made your own.
Home is where a business workspace starts. A personal workspace starts on the chat, and Settings has a Start on choice for Home or Chat on this device. The first widget is a greeting with the chat box and quick start buttons such as Upload files, New document, Start a meeting, New task and Invite people, each shown only when that part is on and you may use it.
Press Customise to drag a widget by its header, resize it from the corner, remove it or add one from the catalogue with a preview of each. On a phone, long press to move, or use Move up and Move down. Done saves. Reset goes back to the default for your role.

02Sidebar and phone bar
Only what is switched on, and the tabs in your order.
The sidebar has menus that open to their pages, such as Chat, Tasks, Documents, Files and Studio, and groups for Team, People, Money and Quality when you use them. A group shows only when one of its parts is on. A workspace that picked none of them sees none of them.
On a phone, the bottom bar holds the main places, and the rest are under More. Set the order of the phone tabs in your own settings. The same list drives the command bar, which you open with Ctrl or Cmd and K.

03The New menu
One place to start anything.
The New menu starts a chat, a document, a Word file, a spreadsheet, a presentation, a long task, an upload, a case file or an import of your data. It shows only what is switched on for you.
Admins can set the default Home for each role. A person's own layout always wins.

Questions
Does my layout follow me to my phone?
The phone bar has its own tab order in your settings. Home widgets can be moved on a phone too.
Can I undo my changes to Home?
Yes. Cancel throws changes away before you save, and Reset goes back to the default for your role.
Why do I not see Money or People?
They show only when a business workspace has switched them on. See Modules.
