Accessibility statement

nerix.ai should work for everyone, whatever they use to read and type. This is where we stand, including what is not finished.

01Our goal

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this website. This is a target we are working toward, and this statement is our own assessment.

02What we have done

  • Keyboard: every link, button and control can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, and a "skip to content" link comes first.
  • Focus: a clear focus outline is always visible.
  • Contrast: text and control colours were measured against WCAG AA in both the light and the dark look.
  • Touch targets: controls are at least 44 px high.
  • Reduced motion: when your device asks for less motion, animations and scroll effects are switched off.
  • Right to left: pages in right-to-left languages such as Arabic are laid out right to left, not just translated, and the layout mirrors.
  • Screen readers: the page uses real headings, lists, tables and landmarks, and controls that have no visible text carry a text label.
  • Switches and menus use real buttons with their state announced, not look-alike elements.
  • Text resizes, and the layout adapts from phone width to wide screens without sideways scrolling.

03Known limits

  • Translations are still being reviewed by native readers; every language other than English is machine-made. If something reads oddly, tell us.
  • The example answers and figures on the website are illustrations. Each has a text alternative that says what it shows, but they are not live product screens.
  • We have not tested every combination of browser and assistive technology, and no external audit has been published yet.
  • The product at app.nerix.ai is a separate application and is covered by its own review. It is not described in this statement.

04Tell us about a barrier

If something on the website is hard or impossible to use, write to info@nerix.ai. Say which page, what you were trying to do and what you use (browser, device, assistive technology). A person will answer, and we will give you the information another way if we cannot fix the page quickly.
