03Ask nerix

An answer from your own passages, with sources.

Ask a question and nerix answers only from the passages of your workspace, with every claim numbered and linked to its source. Opening a source opens the document at its page.

It costs a few credits, and the cost is shown before you ask. Continue in chat takes the answer further. Chat uses the same search, so a question such as what did we decide about the Acme renewal finds the minutes, the work item and the email.

04Privacy

Nobody finds what they may not open.

What a person may not open is removed before results are ranked: private chats, folder limits, custom roles and modules switched off. The same holds in snippets, counts and answers.

Embeddings follow your workspace's provider choice: EU by default, and on nerix's own server only when you choose it. The names of people and clients go to the provider as codes.

Can someone find a private chat through search?

No. What a person may not open is filtered out before ranking, including in snippets, counts and answers.
