Last updated: 18 October 2026
1. Who we are
Your business name ("we" or "us") runs the website Your website and is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. In legal terms, we are the "controller" of that data.
Address: Business address
Email: Email for privacy questions
This notice explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, contact us or buy from us, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.
2. The data we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses.
- Order details: what you buy, when, the price, delivery details and any returns.
- Payment details: the information needed to take your payment, such as the payment method and its confirmation.
- Account details: your login and preferences, if you create an account.
- Your messages: what you send us by email, through our forms or by phone, and our replies.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected through our website and cookies (see section 7).
Most of this data comes directly from you. If you do not give us the data we need for an order, we cannot complete it. Our website is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
| Why we use your data | Data used | Legal basis or reason |
|---|---|---|
| To take, deliver and support your orders, handle returns and run your account | Contact, order, payment and account details | Needed to perform our contract with you, or to take steps you ask for before one |
| To answer your questions and complaints | Contact details and your messages | Our legitimate interest in answering you, or our contract with you |
| To keep our website and payments secure and prevent fraud | Technical, order and payment details | Our legitimate interest in protecting our business and our customers |
| To keep accounting and tax records and meet our other legal duties | Order and payment details | A legal obligation |
| To make, defend or settle legal claims | Any relevant data | Our legitimate interest in protecting our legal rights |
Where we rely on our legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object at any time (see section 8).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed;
- public authorities, courts or the police, where the law requires it or to protect our rights; and
- a buyer of all or part of our business, who would use your data as this notice describes.
Our service providers may use your data only to provide their services to us, under contracts that require them to protect it. Some, such as payment providers, also use it for their own legal duties, under their own privacy notices.
5. How long we keep it
- Order, payment and accounting records: How long you keep order and tax records, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Account details: while your account is open. When you close it, we delete them, apart from the order records above.
- Messages and complaints: for up to 2 years after the matter is settled, in case of follow-up questions or claims.
- Marketing: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. We then keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we do not email you again.
- Technical data: as explained in our cookie settings, and security logs for no more than 12 months.
After that, we delete your data or make it anonymous.
6. How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, access controls and careful choice of service providers. No system is completely secure, but if a breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies the site needs to work, for example for your basket and for security, are set automatically. We use other cookies, such as for analytics or advertising, only if you agree. You can accept or refuse them, and change your choice at any time, through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law where you live, you have the right to:
- get a copy of your personal data and information about how we use it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, for example when we no longer need it;
- ask us to limit how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data based on our legitimate interests, and stop direct marketing at any time;
- receive the data you gave us in a common digital format, or have it sent to another organisation; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.
To use any of these rights, contact us at Email for privacy questions. We will reply within one month, which the law allows us to extend in some cases. It is normally free. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects for you.
9. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your data, please contact us first at Email for privacy questions, and we will try to put things right.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular where you live or work or where you think the problem happened.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date, and tell you directly about any important change.
