Remote Work Policy
Company: Brightwater Analytics
Effective from: 1 January 2027
Policy owner: People and Culture team
1. Purpose
This policy explains when and how people at Brightwater Analytics may work away from our offices, so that remote work is fair, safe and productive for the company and for the people who do it.
2. Who can work remotely
Remote work is open to all employees whose job can be done away from the office, after their probation period. It depends on the job: some roles need someone on site, and the manager decides, with the People team, whether a role can be done remotely. Remote work is a way of working agreed with the company and it does not change an employee's contract, pay or other terms unless this is agreed in writing.
3. How much, and where
Employees may work remotely up to three days a week, with at least two days in the office. They may work from their home in the country where they are employed, or another place agreed in writing in advance. Working from another country, even for a short time, needs written approval beforehand, because it can change tax, social security, insurance and employment law for both sides.
