Amara Diallo
Subject: Level of warning
Dear Amara Diallo,
This letter confirms what we discussed at our meeting on 14 October 2026.
What happened
You arrived more than 30 minutes late on 5, 8 and 12 October and did not tell your supervisor beforehand.
You said that a change in bus times caused the delays.
The standard that applies
Section 4.2 of the staff handbook requires staff to start on time or to tell their supervisor before the start.
We spoke about lateness on 22 September.
What must change
Arrive on time for every shift, or contact your supervisor before the start if you cannot.
We will review your progress on 14 November 2026. If you meet this standard by then, no further action will be taken.
What happens if it does not
If the standard is not met, or a similar problem happens again, we may take further action, which could lead to dismissal.
This warning stays on your file for 12 months. If you disagree with it, you may appeal in writing to HR (hr@summit.example) within 7 days. We want to help you meet the standard, so please tell us if there is anything we can do to support you.
Yours sincerely,
Jonas Weber, Operations Manager
