01What nerix checks
The general care standard, and 35 sector standards.
The library holds HKZ Zorg, the general standard, as 59 requirements, and 35 HKZ sector standards of 26 to 28 requirements each, such as 118 care for people with disabilities, 129 mental health care, 132 childcare, 136 pharmacies, 142 youth care, 143 small organisations, 144 nursing, care homes and home care, 155 maternity care and 170 dental care. Titles are in English and Dutch.
nerix looks in your documents and records for each requirement. A document that only mentions it counts as Partly found, with its passage shown. A record of work done, such as an internal check item for the clause recorded as Conforms in the last 12 months, counts as evidence. No evidence at all counts as Not found. A person confirms every result.

02What nerix sets up
The audit programme, care figures and yearly plan.
In Settings, Certifications, pick the HKZ standard you follow. nerix sets up risk kinds for client safety, medication, infection and business, lists for suppliers, interested parties, scope, legal requirements, changes, communication and drills, and figures for client satisfaction, complaints, incidents, near misses, training done, hygiene score, open findings and staff turnover.
The programmes include a yearly internal audit, a yearly business review, a complaints review, a training records check and a document control review. The year plan adds a client survey, a staff survey, appraisals, a risk review, a legal evaluation and a drill. 03Where it stops
It prepares you for Kiwa or another body. It does not replace them.
nerix does not issue an HKZ certificate and is not the certification body. It cannot see whether care is given safely, only whether your documents and records show how you run it. Clause numbers and requirement titles are written by us from the standards, not copied, and an HKZ standard is a paid text: the full wording comes from your own copy.
Check on hkz.nl which standard applies to your kind of care and which edition is current before you rely on a requirement list. The library is for Dutch care today: the laws and bodies it names are Dutch.

Does nerix certify us for HKZ?
No. An accredited certification body does that after its own audit. nerix helps you prepare by showing what your documents and records already cover, and by running your internal audits and management review.
Which HKZ standard should I pick?
The one your certification body assigns to your kind of care. The library lists the general standard HKZ Zorg and 35 sector standards. Check hkz.nl for the current edition.
Is it only for the Netherlands?
The HKZ standards and the laws named with them are Dutch, so it is most useful there. The readiness check and the plan work the same for any standard in the library.
Do you include the text of the HKZ standards?
No. nerix shows each requirement with its own short title and guidance, and the full standard comes from your own copy.
Can we work in Dutch?
The library's requirement titles, summaries and questions are written in English and Dutch. The app is in many languages.
