Checks, ISO 45001, Early access

ISO 45001 readiness from the safety records you already keep.

nerix looks through your documents and records for what an occupational health and safety system should show: hazards found, risks rated, workers consulted, incidents followed up and emergencies practised. It then sets up the safety walks, drills and yearly plan around them. Early access.

The free plan is one seat and 3,000 credits a month, never charged.

01What nerix checks

Thirty-three requirements, from hazard identification to incident reporting.

The library holds ISO 45001:2018 with Amendment 1:2024 as 33 requirements. They include 5.4 worker consultation and participation, 6.1.2.1 hazard identification, 6.1.2.2 risk assessment method, 6.1.3 legal and other requirements, 8.1.2 hazard elimination and risk reduction, 8.1.4 procurement and contractor safety, 8.2 emergency preparedness, 9.1.2 evaluation of compliance and 10.2 incident reporting and corrective action.

nerix looks in your workspace for each one. A document that only mentions a requirement counts as Partly found, with its passage shown. A record of work done, such as an internal check item for that clause recorded as Conforms in the last 12 months, counts as evidence. No evidence at all counts as Not found. A person confirms every result.

02What nerix sets up

Safety walks, drills, incident figures and a yearly plan.

In Settings, Certifications, say you follow ISO 45001. nerix sets up a workplace risk kind, lists for subcontractors, interested parties, scope, legal requirements, drills, changes and communication, and figures such as incidents, near misses, injuries per hours worked, sick days, training done and inspections on time.

The programmes include a monthly workplace safety walk, a fire evacuation drill, a fire equipment inspection and a training records check. The year plan adds a monthly toolbox talk (7.3), a yearly legal compliance evaluation (9.1.2), a risk review (6.1.2.1) and equipment check and certificate renewal reminders.

03Where it stops

It does not inspect your site or keep people safe by itself.

nerix reads documents and records. It does not walk the site, measure noise or air, or judge whether a machine guard is adequate. A hazard register is only as good as what your people add to it. Injury details open only to people with the right permission.

It prepares you for an audit and does not issue a certificate: an accredited certification body does. The library links ISO 45001 to the Dutch Arbowet as a required law while it applies to you; other countries' health and safety laws are not in the library as separate frameworks. ISO text is paid, so the full wording comes from your own copy.

04Questions

Questions

Does nerix make us ISO 45001 certified?

No. An accredited certification body issues the certificate after its audit. nerix helps you prepare by showing what your documents and records already cover and by running your safety walks, drills and internal audits.

Can people report an incident from a phone?

Yes. Anyone can report from a phone with a photo or video, a few words and how serious it was. A manager sees all reports. A report can hold the cause, costs and follow-up tasks.

Does it replace a safety officer?

No. It keeps the registers, checks and records in one place. Judging a hazard and deciding a control stay with your people.

Which health and safety laws does it know?

The library holds the Dutch Arbowet and links ISO 45001 to it. Laws for other countries are not separate frameworks yet. You can write a list of your own.

Do you include the text of ISO 45001?

No. nerix shows the clause number with its own short label and guidance. The full wording comes from your own licensed copy.

Is it finished?

It is early access. The readiness check, plan, checks, issues and business reviews work today. Tell us what you need.
