House share agreement
This agreement is between the people who share the home at Address of the shared home (the housemates):

It sets out how we share the home, its costs and its upkeep, and it takes effect when all the housemates have signed it. It is an agreement between the housemates only. It does not change anyone's tenancy with the landlord, and where the two differ, the tenancy agreement comes first.

If someone cannot pay their share on time, they will tell the others at once, before the rent is due.

6. Quiet hours
Quiet hours are Quiet hours. During these hours we keep music, TV and calls low and avoid noisy jobs.
7. Living together
- We respect each other's rooms and belongings: no one enters another person's room or uses their things without asking.
- We raise problems early, in person and calmly, and try to settle them together.
8. Leaving
Anyone who wants to leave gives the other housemates at least Notice to leave written notice. The person leaving pays their share of the rent and bills until the notice ends, or until a replacement approved by the remaining housemates, and by the landlord where needed, moves in and starts paying, if that is sooner.
9. Changes
Any change to this agreement must be in writing and agreed by every housemate.
