Subject: Notice to end my tenancy at Address of the home you rent

Dear Landlord's name,

I am writing to give you notice that I am ending my tenancy of Address of the home you rent. I will move out and return all the keys on Your move-out date, which will be the last day of my tenancy.

I believe this gives the notice that my tenancy agreement requires. If you think a different date applies, please tell me in writing as soon as possible.

I will leave the property clean and in the condition it was in when I moved in, apart from normal wear and tear. I would like to arrange a final inspection with you on or before Your move-out date, so we can agree on its condition together and record the meter readings.

Please return my deposit of Deposit you paid promptly after the tenancy ends. If you intend to keep any part of it, please send me a written list of the deductions, with the reasons and any evidence such as photos or invoices.

From Your move-out date, please send all letters, including anything about the deposit, to:
Your address after you move

Please confirm in writing that you have received this notice.

Kind regards,
