Getting Started With nerix

nerix is a workspace with an assistant at its centre. You ask in plain words, and it answers from your files and, when you allow it, the web. This is the shortest way in.

What you see first

The sidebar has menus that open to their pages: Chat, Tasks, Documents, Files, Studio, Team and Quality, and Settings at the bottom. Only the features your workspace has switched on appear.

Home is a start page of small panels you can move and resize with Customise. The first panel is the chat box, with what is waiting for you and quick start buttons. In Settings, under Language and look, you can choose to start on Home or on Chat.

Ask a question

Type in the chat box and send. nerix searches your files, and the web when it is allowed, and writes the answer. Each answer shows what it cost in credits, and a spending cap is on from the start.

Type a slash in the box to see commands such as attach a file, write a document, search the web or think longer.

A document you ask for, such as an offer, a quote or a letter, opens in a panel beside the chat instead of arriving as a long message.

Try it without an account

The example workspace opens with no account and is read only, so you can look around first. The free chat on the home page and on the Try page needs no sign-up either.

On a phone

The button at the start of the top bar, or a swipe in from the edge, opens your conversations. Sheets open from the bottom and close when you drag them down.
