Source: https://nerix.ai/templates/food-temperature-log

Record the temperatures that keep food safe, with the limits, and what to do when a reading is wrong.

Before you send it

Safe temperature limits differ between countries and food types. The examples are common limits. Use the limits your local food safety authority and your own food safety plan require. This is a record, not a replacement for a food safety plan.

## Readings

| 2027-10-04 08:00 | Fridge 1 | 3 C | AK | |

| 2027-10-04 12:30 | Chicken curry, cooked | 82 C | AK | |

| 2027-10-05 08:00 | Fridge 1 | 7 C | MO | Door was open, dairy moved to Fridge 2 |

## Problems and what was done

Tue 5 Oct: Fridge 1 at 7 C. Moved the dairy to Fridge 2, checked the door seal, re-read after 1 hour at 4 C. Food at 7 C for under 2 hours was kept. MO.

If a reading is outside the limits, act at once: move, reheat, cool again or throw the food away, then find out why. Never leave a wrong reading without a written action.
