Settings, Connections lists what nerix can connect to, such as a Google Workspace account for files, calendar and email, an email mailbox over IMAP, and an MCP server for tools. An account uses a sign in page, and a tool uses an address and a key. Connections are in the For me layer: yours alone. Owners and admins change the workspace's connections. What is available depends on what your workspace has set up. - Accounts Files, calendar and email, through a sign in page. - Email mailbox An address and a key, over IMAP. - MCP server Tools nerix can call, through an address and a key. 02 Tools ## Add a tool with MCP. An MCP server gives nerix tools it can call, such as looking up a record or starting a job in a system you rely on. In Settings, Assistant, Tools, you choose for each tool whether nerix may use it (Allow), must ask first (Ask first) or never may (Never). If you need a connection to a system that is not listed, we build connectors for businesses. Tell us on the Built for you page. What nerix does here - Asks first for a tool you marked Ask first, and shows what it is about to do. - Allow nerix may use the tool. - Ask first nerix shows what it will do and waits for your yes. - Never The tool is not used. 03 Email sending and import ## Send from your own mailbox, and bring your data in. Under Settings, Email sending, you add the accounts that documents and drafts are sent from. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and the Outbox shows how it went. Import data brings in people, teams, customers, tasks and meetings from a spreadsheet, an HR export, contacts or a photo of a list, and from Trello, Jira, Asana, Zendesk, a Slack export, calendars and a mailbox. You check every row before anything is created, and Undo is on the result. - Email sending Accounts that documents and drafts go out from. - Import data Check every row, then import. Undo is on the result. - Other tools Trello, Jira, Asana, Zendesk, Slack export, calendars and a mailbox. 04 In control ## You decide what goes where. Owners and admins choose which AI providers may receive anything from the workspace. New workspaces are EU only, and each provider shows its country and cautions. Content is never used to train a model. For developers, nerix.ai has an API and an SDK. See Developers. - AI providers EU only by default. Switch on others, with each one's country and cautions. - Privacy Hide names, emails and amounts before text goes to a model. 05 Questions ## Questions Which connections are available? + Settings, Connections lists them for your workspace. They include accounts that sign in through a page (files, calendar and email), an email mailbox, and an MCP server for tools. Who can connect something? + Anyone can connect an account for themselves. Owners and admins change the workspace's connections and email sending.
