# Billing and Credits in nerix

You pay for a plan, and AI work uses credits. Each answer shows what it cost, and a spending cap is on from the start.

## In short

- Open Settings, then Billing and usage.
- See your plan, your credits and what you used.
- Buy a credit pack or an add-on if you need more, or choose Redeem a code.
- Owners and admins manage billing for the workspace. Start free Pricing

## Plans and prices

The full table of plans, credit packs and add-ons is always on the pricing page. We do not repeat numbers here so they cannot go out of date.

## Credits

Credits pay for AI work. Every answer shows its cost. Work that takes a while, such as a long task, lets you set a credit limit first, and the meeting report shows its estimated credits before you make it.

## What the free plan does

Every workspace starts on the free plan. Opening, editing, copying and sharing work on it. Downloads of files nerix makes come with a paid plan, and your own uploads and the copy of everything stay downloadable on every plan.

## On the phone apps

The phone apps show your plan and credits but do not sell anything. Buy on the web.
